We are nestled
on a spring-fed lake just 40 minutes from downtown Halifax and the
International airport. Come and enjoy the serenity and peaceful
surroundings of our comfortable country home on the lake. The
ice bucket will always be full for your arrival! Upon rising you
can choose an early morning swim or leisurely kayak up the lake as the
sun is rising. Stroll the flower gardens or walk the short
woodland path and count the Hostas. You may choose to just sit
on the dock at waterside, listen to the birds and watch for the loons,
osprey and bald eagles.

Our
Home offers 3 well-appointed rooms, each with an ensuite bathroom.
Each room has a sitting area, TV/VCR and DVD player, King, Queen or a Twin bed
option for stays of 2 days or more.
We serve an extensive
breakfast in the Dining Room overlooking the lake between 7:30 am
and 9:00 am. When weather permits we also serve breakfast on
the deck overlooking the lake.
In the evening one
can enjoy the opportunity, if they wish, to sit with other guests
in the Great Room and exchange their valued vacation experiences
while enjoying a nice cup of tea or other hot beverages.
Before retiring for
the evening you may choose a relaxing soak in the outdoor hot tub
under the stars.
For guests who
choose to stay with us for more than one night, we are ideally
situated for day trips to such places as Lunenburg, Mahone Bay,
Peggy's Cove, Halifax, Sherbrooke Village and Taylor Head
Provincial Park to name but a few.
